To enable transparency of windows and taskbar in Windows 10, you need to use third-party programs. Among them it is worth highlighting the most popular ones, namely:

Classic Shell is a free program that can be used to make the Start menu, taskbar, and windows in Windows 10 transparent. The program also allows you to set the level of transparency. To enable the glass effect, follow these steps:

• Let's launch the program. Check the “Show all settings” checkbox. The remaining tabs will appear.

• Go to the “Windows 10 Settings” tab. Check the box “Glass effect” and next to the item “Taskbar transparency” set the transparency level, where 0 is completely transparent.

You can make the windows and taskbar look the same again in the same way by undoing all changes.

Aero Glass is compatible with Windows 10. With its help, you can enable window transparency and make the taskbar less visible. To do this you should do:

• We download ONLY the latest version of the program from the official website (earlier versions do not work).
• We launch the installation and follow the prompts. At the stage of choosing a theme installation, select Aero. If you select others, you will have to separately adjust the transparency of Windows 10 windows.

With the advent of the Windows Vista operating system, a new window display design was developed, called Aero.

How enable transparency?

Window transparency is enabled in the theme settings. In order to enter this menu, you need to right-click in an empty area of ​​the screen and select Personalization.

Everything will go quickly and beautifully, even without advertising. Transparent windows are controlled using hotkeys after installing the program. Let's say you wanted to create a transparent window for yourself. To do this, you should press the key combination “Contral Shift” and any number from 1 to 9. The number means how transparent the window will be. If 1-10%, 2-20%, 9-90% transparency. If you want to return the window to its previous appearance, you will need to press the same key combination, only with the number 0. Also, using this program, you can set the priority window on top of all other windows. To do this, press the “Contral Shift Plus” key combination.

As for the GhostWin program, its functions are almost the same, only slightly different controls. If you right-click on the window title, a menu will appear from it, in which you can choose the degree of transparency of the window. If you want to return the window to its previous state, just press the “Normal” key. The difference between GhostWin and Whitright is that in GhostWin you can make a window transparent even when dragging and resizing. It is very comfortable.

To summarize the above, we can say that if you need to make transparent windows for convenient work, download these programs that I recommended. When installed, they do not bite each other, but interact normally.

Most likely, Aero Peeck is disabled on your system. To enable it, right-click on “start” and select “properties”.
